Petr Cech has a wealth of experience at Chelsea and quite often he talks to the press as one of the senior members of the squad. Petr Cech has taken time out to praise the recent performances of Willian.
Willian got off to a slow start if we are being honest here at Chelsea and took some time to come to terms with life in England and getting used to the way the manager wants him to play. He had to adapt to both situations which are very different to what he was used to out in Russia.
To his credit, he has got his head down, worked hard, developed the defensive side of his game and is now having much more of an influence in our games. Against Liverpool, he was outstanding and again against Southampton when both he and Oscar came on as substitutes and influenced the game.
Speaking of Willian, Petr Cech said:
You always give players a few months to settle because the Premier League is different to anywhere else.
There were controversies of his selection because he hailed from Anzhi Makhachkala where he was unlucky with injuries and he didn’t play much.
And he has not let us down by giving his best from day one and working really hard. He was waiting for his chance and since the first start you can see he is taking his opportunity.
He has been absolutely brilliant in the recent matches. He keeps working for the team, making the difference, scoring goals, defending. I thought I’d never see anyone more enthusiastic than Ramires, but seems I have been wrong.
It’s fantastic to see he’s enjoying his football, enjoying his life in the club. This is important. It’s very pleasing to see his progress.”I am interested in reading as many opinions on Willian from as many Chelsea fans around the world as possible. Do you agree with me he had a slow start but is now really showing us what he can do?
Carefree & KTBFFH!
He is the critical singing. Yes, he has been an outstanding player from day one with his wonder goal against Norwich. Mou has to keep him playing and fresh. The key to chelseafc's success this season trust my words.
ReplyDeleteWell,i am very happy that he had improved his game. I always complain when he is selected but i now know the reason Jose keeps on doing that. He believe in him and the guy is repaying his that belief. I hope he continues to be playing more better for the team and who knowns,he can get awards for that.
ReplyDeleteHe is on form at the right time,i mean when Chelseafc needed that most and i am really glad for that.
