DEMBA BA: What's your opinion? Undervalued?

I am writing this blog post because I would like to gauge the opinion of as many Chelsea fans from all over the world on their opinion of Demba Ba. How do you rate him?

Ba has hardly featured for Chelsea this season and after a promising start last season, drifted out of the side more often than not. However, he has popped up with important goals including the third and final one against Southampton to kill the game off and ensure Chelsea took an important three points.

In the last few days, Branislav Ivanovic has spoken of Demba Ba and has spoke of the qualities he gives us when he plays. He said:

“Demba is the closest striker we have to Didier Drogba. He shows every minute he’s on the pitch that he tries to fight and is a physical striker. We will use him a lot in December and January. He’s very important to us – a guy that can keep the ball up front.”

He's right about being a physical striker. His height and strength is an advantage and different to that of Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o and like I said before, he pops up with important goals when we need them.

It's interesting to hear Ivanovic talking of Mourinho using him alot in the coming month. I just wonder if he will start against Sunderland tomorrow night?
