Chelsea v Steaua Bucharest: Who do YOU want to see start for Chelsea?

Chelsea take on Steaua Bucharest at the Bridge tomorrow night and a win will see us win the group! The question I am asking Chelsea fans is "Who do YOU want to see start for Chelsea in this one?"

Steaua and Crystal Palace at home are two games that are much needed at the moment and I mean no disrespect to either side when I say that. The fact that we have had a long trip up north to Sunderland in midweek followed by a trip to Stoke shortly afterwards, it's nice to get back home and hopefully back to winning ways.

We are all looking ahead to Arsenal on the 23rd December but for now it's important that we focus on these next two games. With a chance to win tonight, boost our confidence again and more importantly, win our Champions League group, everyone needs to be focused and to make sure we get the job done.

So would you make any changes to the Chelsea teams that have started the last couple of games? I think our defence needs looking at. We have conceded SEVEN goals in three games and that as we all know includes SIX in two games!

The Defence.

I would like to see Ashley Cole brought back into the fold and start tonight with Cesar Azpilicueta moved across to right back in his natural position. Alot has been said about Branislav Ivanovic and I think he could do with a rest.

We wait on news of David Luiz but at the moment I cannot see him being thrown straight back into the side ahead of JT and Gary Cahill.

Holding Midfield.

Now, I for one have always been a fan of Mikel and the defensive stability he brings to the side. Out of all of our holding midfielders, he is the most defensive minded so I would put him in the side and keep him there for the time being.

As this is a must win game, we cannot afford to rest Ramires so once again he starts for me because he has become one of our most consistent players. Frank Lampard to be named on the bench.

The Attacking Three.

Eden Hazard starts as he has been brilliant of late, Juan Mata to continue in the hole behind the striker and for me once again, Kevin De Bruyne needs to start ahead of Willian based on Andre Schurrle picking up an injury against Stoke. We wait to hear if Schurrle has recovered and is declared fit for the game but I would still go with Kevin De Bruyne.

The Striker.

Now up front is difficult for me as they all need more goals (I have posted the solution to our lack of goals here). Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba are all fit and ready to be selected. I would go with Demba Ba to start this one because if we play him from the start, he will make some sort of impact whether it's an assist or to get on the end of something to score. Torres and Eto'o to be named on the bench ahead of Crystal Palace and Arsenal coming up.
