CHELSEA 2-1 CRYSTAL PALACE: HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE GAME HERE!

Despite the nervy finish, despite not taking our chances yet again and despite a valiant effort from the revitalised Palace under Tony Pulis, this was an all important three points for Chelsea.

There is a saying in football that "A win is a win!" and that's the best way for me to describe what happened yesterday. I stated before the game that after the Arsenal result, we had to win no matter what in order to put intense pressure on them and we sit here this morning knowing we have done exactly that!

We all know the negatives about the performance and at times our defending but there is an all important positive to remember. Despite not playing at our best including losing at Stoke, we have managed to grind out results elsewhere and are within striking distance of Arsenal and top of the league!

I cannot help but think at some stage Chelsea will simply "click" into place and will start to take the chances we create and beat teams by four, fix or even six goals. I will not be surprised when it happens because it will at some stage!

I would like to give credit where credit is due to Palace! Tony Pulis is beginning to work the same magic he had done at Stoke. Palace seemed doomed if we are honest and despite performances not being rewarded at the beginning of the season, they looked as though they couldn't buy a win!.

Now, the players look disciplined and well organised. They look together too and the fact they had picked up three wins in recent weeks is credit to them. If they carry on playing as they did yesterday, they have a chance in this league. Good luck to them!

As for Chelsea, we are second and just two points behind Arsenal and we face them next at the Emirates next Monday night. Wouldn't it be great for Chelsea's performance to really come together and for us to take most of our chances there!

So come on Chelsea fans, I would like to know what your thoughts are about the game yesterday and the face that we wake up to being second and now only two points behind top of the league!
