MATA: Get him back in the team and stop all this speculation Jose!

Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Man United and PSG are all interested in Juan Mata this January. It makes you wonder if they are, why aren't Chelsea?

Plenty has been said about Juan Mata on here and on various Chelsea blogs and websites. We have all spoken about the situation he is faced with at the moment under Jose Mourinho.

With the January transfer window approaching, rumours and speculation is rife that the manager feels he has too many "number 10's" at the club and is willing to sell Mata to strengthen other areas of the squad. If that's true, then it's quite simply ridiculous!!

In light of this, the press are reporting that Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Man United are all monitoring the situation but PSG are preparing a massive £40m bid which if it does come to fruition, I believe Chelsea will accept!

There more I think about it, the more I get wound up with all this. If you see Chelsea, Oscar has played well for the most part this season but if you compare him to Mata and the impact he has had in that position for the last two seasons, I'm sorry but there is no comparison.

There is a reason Mata was voted Player of the Year for two seasons running for god sake!

The best thing that Jose Mourinho can do now in the next few weeks, is to get Juan Mata back in that position, work out what he wants to do with Oscar and build the team around the little magician. Let's hope that starting at West Ham at the weekend and Southampton at home next weekend (click here for tickets) we will see him start!

I simply cannot believe that Juan Mata will become one of Europe's most wanted players if he was to become available and Chelsea would be willing to let him go!
