FC Basel 1-0 Chelsea: Sorry Jose, that was BOLLOCKS!

I am so annoyed! What is it about Chelsea this month, we take a step forward then another bloody step backwards and still, the same players are not being given a chance!!!

It's all well and good Jose Mourinho admitting he made mistakes with his team selection and claiming that the players were "tired" but what about the other players in the squad who continuously sit there on the bench or in the stands waiting to be given a chance?!

Last night in my view, was the perfect game to rotate most of the players who played against West Ham with an eye on the upcoming clash against Southampton this weekend.

Why couldn't we rest Ivanovic and play Azpilicueta at right back? Ashley Cole come in and start at left back alongside JT and Gary Cahill?

Why couldn't we give Frank Lampard a rest and play Ramires next to Mikel?

Why on earth start with Willian who has hardly done anything when Kevin De Bruyne is sitting on the bench?

Oscar had a really disappointing game, why not play Juan Mata?

If Fernando Torres was fit, why play Eto'o again!

For me last night I would have played:

Cech, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry(c), Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Schurrle, Mata, De Bruyne and Torres.

Getting back to the game and it was dire. We were awful! We couldn't get hold of the ball long enough to sustain a decent amount of possession and dominate the game. We lacked anything in or around the box and to come away from the game with NO SHOTS ON TARGET is a joke!

I just feel sorry for all those Chelsea fans who travelled to Switzerland to watch that last night.

People say "Well at least we qualified!" That's the only positive!

Jose sort it out, get Juan Mata back in the side and do it quickly!
