According to media reports, Jose Mourinho is heading off to Brussels tomorrow to take a look at Radamel Falcao ahead of a reported 60m Euro bid being made in January. What I would like to know is whether or not you think for that amount of money, Falcao is worth it?
Think for a second at the different players that are rumoured to also be under consideration such as Lewandowski for a reported £7m, Wayne Rooney at a reported £30-£35m or Jackson Martinez from Porto for somewhere around £20-£30m!
We know Falcao is a lethal marksman but so is Lewandowski who would cost a hell of a lot cheaper!
I have to question if Falcao is exactly what Jose Mourinho needs to complete the jigsaw as I personally believe we lack someone up top who can score goals but who can also play as a link man between the midfield and attack - someone like Eidur Gudjohnsen.
Think of Eidur and the way he linked up with Robben, Duff and Lampard to fantastic effect whether it was to get on the end of the chances they created or to provide for them. Do we think Falcao would be that man? I don't!
Chelsea's problem of late is unlocking the door. It's all well and good having a natural finisher but you need to be able to produce chances or play the final ball to someone.
Would Falcao have a problem here or do you think the opposite and having him here would solve alot of our problems?
We are talking big, big money here. Is Falcao worth it?
Carefree & KTBFFH!
