What do you make of Michael Laudrup's Chelsea revelation?

During the international break, there is little going on with our football clubs. Often we will hear from our players making comments while they are away on international duty that tend to make headlines for one reason or another.

It's very rare that another Premier League manager makes a comment about Chelsea during this period that grabs our attention but Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has done. I am more than interested to hear from as many Chelsea fans as possible giving their opinion on what he has said.

He said:

“Someone from Chelsea wanted to know about my availability, but there was never anything concrete.”

You do have to question the timing of his comments but again as I have said, it's the international break and what else is there to talk about?

It makes interesting reading because for most of us, there was only one man we wanted and had hoped would come back and that was Jose Mourinho.

So what of Laudrup? What do you think of him as a Premier League manager and what he achieved in his first season at Swansea?

You could be nothing but impressed with the way his side took advantage of our mistakes and coped with Chelsea in the two legged League Cup semi final.

Winning the League Cup was massive for Laudrup and for Swansea last season. Now in the Europa League and more than holding their own, his start there has been impressive.

I am not a real avid follower of Spanish Football so can't really comment on what he achieved over there but he obviously made the right impression to have caught the attention of the Swansea board of directors.

Do you think Michael Laudrup is ready to manage one of the bigger Premier League clubs and what do you think of him saying that Chelsea enquired about his availability?

I personally am more than happy with the decision the club has made as Jose Mourinho was the only one for me that could come here to take over!
