As I have sat back and watched Spurs' pursuit of Willian from Anzi, I have wondered if it would really happen. Let's give AVB some credit here, he is using the sale of Gareth Bale (it will happen) and the monies received from Real Madrid to rebuild and invest his team. So far, he has made good signings.
Knowing that Willian was a long term target for Chelsea, I wondered if we would sit back and not do anything now that Anzi after spending a ridiculous amount of money, are now prepared to let him leave.
So far we have heard nothing official from Chelsea on this and I am sure Jose will be asked during his press conference this afternoon, I just wonder if there is any real substance in Chelsea's interest?
If there is, it's another attacking midfielder on our books and could only mean one thing for me, Victor Moses will be sold with Everton being his most likely destination.
I am speculating here but it's my opinion that out of all of our attacking six, he would be the one Jose would be prepared to let go. It would be a shame really as Moses played really well and worked hard in pre season.
This could all be total bollocks of course with the media speculating entirely about Chelsea's interest in Willian but, I wouldn't be surprised.
What do you think? Is there any truth in the rumour and is he someone we should be looking at?
