Team News

Rafa Benitez to his credit has stuck by his rotation policy at the club and Thursday night was Chelsea's eleventh game in the last thirty three days.

Juan Mata and John Terry were both on the bench next to Oscar that night and I expect all three to start this one. Demba Ba cup tied for the Europa League looks set to return to the starting eleven in addition to Ashley Cole who missed the game on Thursday through suspension.

Oriol Romeu remains out for the season but apart from that, Chelsea have no major injury worries.

Form

Chelsea's form has really picked up of late and apart from defeat at Wembley against Man City in the FA Cup and a controversial draw at Anfield, it's been good. A win on Thursday night that has taken us to the Europa League final will improve our confidence and morale and we should be up for this one at Old Trafford.

Chelsea's last ten games in all competitions = P10 W7 D1 L2.

Head-to-head

We have to look at our most recent encounters and it's pretty much even. After a defeat to United at Stamford Bridge in the league and a poor first half display at Old Trafford in the FA Cup, Chelsea have shaken themselves down and really got to grips with United.

We came away from Old Trafford disappointed with not winning the game in the Cup but beat United at Stamford Bridge in the replay and it's all set for a cracker on Sunday.

If Chelsea can take their second half performance from that cup tie at Old Trafford and produce it for 90 minutes in this one, we have a big chance to take at least an all important point from the game.
