Rubin Kazan v Chelsea: An early Chelsea goal needed!

Chelsea take on Rubin Kazan in a little over two hours from now and it's important that we start the game well. An early Chelsea goal would be ideal to settle things down and force the Russian side to score four to beat us!

Ideally, I would like us to start this one tonight with a strong team to get the early goal and then bring off the likes of Mata, Hazard and Ramires and save their legs for Sunday.

One thing we must not do is become complacent and to sit back on our lead. We cannot expect to get out there and defend our lead and draw Kazan onto us. It's all well and good playing counter attacking football but it's my view that we would make things harder for ourselves when we don't need to.

Chelsea have the ability to get out there with the right attitude and do a professional job tonight. No mucking about, no making life difficult for ourselves and turning an easier second leg into a fight.

Come on Chelsea, get that early goal to see the game out and we can all then focus on Wembley!
