When the curtain finally closes on this season in May, we will all have a chance to sit back and evaluate the season that promised so much for Chelsea.

Coming off the back of winning the FA Cup and finally the Champions League, with a new contract given to Roberto Di Matteo to become our full time manager, there was a real feel-good feeling about the Bridge heading into this season.

As we all know, that soon changed and I am wondering what YOU the Chelsea fan reading this would have done differently if YOU were the manager back at the beginning of pre season in June and throughout this term?

How would you have prioritised the season?

Think back to pre season as the new players joined up with the squad for the first time. Think back to decisions made that allowed the likes of Raul Meireles to leave the club, Michael Essien to leave the club on loan and Kevin De Bruyne.

Would you have kept any of those players or was the decisions made correct? Would it have been better to keep Kevin De Bruyne at the club and would he have featured as part of the front three next to Juan Mata and Eden Hazard?

Would you have let Romelu Lukaku go looking back? At the time we had Fernando Torres as our main striker with Danny Sturridge fighting with him to play through the middle. Should we have let Sturridge go? Should we have let Sturridge go in pre season and kept Lukaku and been better off?

If we had kept Lukaku and De Bruyne, would we have signed Demba Ba and Victor Moses? What do you think happens to those four next season?

What about Marko Marin? Would you have played him more often once he returned from injury as it's obvious he isn't match fit and struggles in games to get involved?

What about team selections? Would you have played Mata, Hazard and Oscar as many times as they have together? Would you have done the opposite to Benitez when he first arrived and stuck with them?

Would you have sacked Roberto Di Matteo at the time he was? Would you have stuck with him or sacked him earlier? Would you have ever employed Rafa Benitez?

What about rotation? How often would you have rotated the players and when would you have done it?

Think about the games we have dropped points in, the games we have lost. How would YOU have approached those games?

I am just trying to get as many opinions on this as possible from as many Chelsea fans all over the world here. Post a comment and give YOUR view even if you haven't done so here before.

What's the main differences that YOU believe Chelsea should have handled differently this season to way it HAS turned out?
