It appears that you could literally draw names out of a hat at the moment as far as the Chelsea job is concerned. One minute it's Guus Hiddink, next it's Jose Mourinho, then David Moyes, last night it was Antonio Conte and now this morning it's Jurgen Klopp!. This could be the most important decision of Roman Abramovich's reign at the club so it's important to get this right.
As ever with anything to do with Chelsea, there is plenty of rumour and speculation so it's important to remember that these people need to sell their papers and have their articles read, so we cannot take anything seriously.
At the moment, anyone is better than the current manager we have here and I just wish that Roman would hold his hands up and admit that he made a mistake with Benitez, say "thanks but no more!" and we find someone that is prepared to step in now or promote from within as we did with RDM last term.
Of course, that's never going to happen but we can only wish!.
The new manager whoever he may be has a job on his hands when he gets here. We have tremendous talent within our ranks but lack direction. At times it looks as though we are chasing shadows as far as defending goes and that has to be the first thing the new manager sorts out when he gets here.
We need someone who can man manage the players in addition to being tactically aware and someone who isn't afraid to make important substitutions or changes in games if things are not working.
Who do YOU think that man is? For now, it's a lottery!

Klopp. He is the man.
ReplyDeletecant argue against mourinho.
ReplyDeleteif no mourinho, maybe conte.
I'd like to have a former chelsea player as manager. Would be great if you could post something about it. Maybe Gus Poyet? Gianfranco Zola? Maybe even Bolo Zenden to step up? GET ROBBIE BACK
