Can someone tell me why, when we are a goal down away at Manchester City with around 30 minutes to go, why we take off our biggest goal threat from midfield and one of our most creative players?
Now I understand that up to that point, Frank Lampard wasn't having one of his best games and the penalty miss is something we never expect from him but why take him off?
I understand that Eden Hazard was the same. Again, not having a major influence on the game but still someone who can create something out of nothing at any given time?
Surely chasing the game up against City with a chance to close the gap on second place to a single point, with just a single point in it, you keep your best attacking goal threats on the pitch!
The tactical changes that should have been made should have been Ramires off for Moses, Mikel off for Oscar (to play in the middle next to Lampard to get hold of the ball and pass it about) and Fernando Torres for Demba BA as BA wasn't getting any joy out of Kolo Toure so we should have changed our approach.
No matter how many times I watch it, I still can't understand it!
