Could Avram Grant make a dramatic return to Chelsea?

Now before we get into this it's important to remember that Avram Grant has been to watch Chelsea at the Bridge before and it's just to watch the game of football nothing more. However, in saying that, with all sorts of speculation about the position of Rafa Benitez at the moment AND the what will happen in the Summer, it was interesting to see Avram Grant there yesterday sitting in Roman Abramovich's box at the Bridge.

I seriously hope that it was just to watch the game and nothing more. I have nothing personal against the bloke but in order to take this club forward, Chelsea need someone like Jose Mourinho or David Moyes and not Avram Grant.

What we have to remember is the circumstances that Avram took after last time. Jose had just been fired and he basically managed Mourinho's team. Yes we got to the Champions League final and picked up our league form but I am of the opinion that Jose would have done that anyway.

We cannot ignore the fact that he was there in addition to the fact that we have to expect the unexpected when it comes to what Roman wants these days. No one would have ever imagined that Rafa Benitez would step foot inside the club apart from into the opposition dressing rooms but look at whats happened!.
