EUROPA LEAGUE - Chelsea draw Sparta Prague

Chelsea have drawn Sparta Prague in the round of 16 of the Europa League.

Prague came 2nd last year in the Gambrinus liga (Czech league) and could prove to be a tough test for the Blues, especially if we don't bring our A-game.


Hopefully we won't decide to make things difficult for ourselves (as we often do) come February 14th!

So if we get through to the quarter finals, it looks like we will more than likely be facing Ajax (who caused Manchester City plenty of problems). That will definitely be a tough one!

I for one want us to win the Europa League, we are in it now and should definitely look at going for the trophy! It will be excellent experience for our newly acquired young talent and also a statement that even though we fell at the first hurdle in the Champions League, we are still a European force!
