As usual with Chelsea struggling to score goals and take their chances, the press are once again taking their chance to speculate on possible movement through the Stamford Bridge doors.
Once again this morning, almost two years on from when it happened before, reports have surfaced this morning that Chelsea could hit Liverpool with a bid of around £50m once again for their main striker in this instance it would be for Luis Suarez!
Pep Guardiola is back in the frame at Chelsea come the end of the season and his brother is the agent of Luis Suarez. The article states that Roman Abramovich will try and tempt Guardiola to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season no matter what, and will try and provide him with a dream partnership of Falcao and Suarez for next season.
Now of course, this could be pure speculation and have little or no substance at all but it's obvious to Chelsea fans that all we are lacking in the final third at the moment is a clinical striker and BOTH fit the bill.
It's looking more and more likely that Falcao will move to Stamford Bridge in January after the player himself talked up a move this week and Man City have distanced themselves from the race for his signature, but to have him here (possibly) and to then go on and get Suarez would be unreal!
Like I say, this could be total rubbish and just pure speculation but the thought of it if it did happen would be a real statement of intent from Chelsea once again.
I still personally believe that reports of Guardiola to Chelsea are nothing but disrespectful to RDM and the job he has and will continue to do here but they just will not go away.
Right now, we have more important things to consider such as picking ourselves up and getting our defensive shape right and getting on with what is happening now and this season.
What do you people think of the speculation about Guardiola and the fact it won't go away. The Falcao rumours and this new report about Suarez bearing in mind his agent is Pep Guardiola's brother?
Carefree & KTBFFH!

I still believe in Di Matteo and that Guardiola is not what we need. However, the rumors seem plausible considering Abramovich's history with his club's manager and preference for Guardiola's style of football.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, a striker in the shape and form of Falcao is more than welcome. And we should get Lukaku back as well.
For me all these people are not what we need, most of these expensive signings has always being flops at the club (Chelsea), so what we need is young and hungry striker, not a striker who is ready-made and that will also put pressure on the player to perform and justify his buying fee. We can get strikers like Jackson Martinez (Porto, for 20m), Loic Remy (Marsaile, 15m), Ba (Newcastle, for 7m), Cisse (Newcastle, 7m) and I'm sure any of this guys will perform excellently for us, because they are all hungry for success. And for Gurdiola, him to him will just be another case of Scolari at chelsea, because his style of football won't favor us much, and at Chelsea, he won't have the support of FA and UEFA just has he had at Barca, so we need to stick to RDM and get one or two of these huys I mentioned above, and get our Lukaku back. And believe me, Chelsea will be unbeatable. And also RDM has to decide on his defence partnership, its either Luiz & terry, or Iva & cahill, but luiz with any of these guys except with Terry is always disaster. This is my own point of view and suggestion for our great team, Chelsea. Blues for life.
ReplyDeleteChelsea won the Champion's league due to Drogba's motivational spirit which engulfed all the players and God in heaven gave them (the players) success. Di Matteo is not a coach for crying out loud. Give Wenger our talented players (Chelsea team) and see him rule Europe with them. A coach who doesnt know that Torre's inclussion in our team means that we are playing with only 10 men. A coach who left bunch of talented player on bench only to bring them out in times of crisis when the players are already match-rustty. A coach who cannot study a match and make the right substitution. A coach who cannot substitute Torres even when its obvious that he is a big flop in a match. Why are we beating about the bush ? Di Matteo's incompetence is yet to come.
ReplyDeleteMy greatest anger is his continous inclusion of torres. Dis torres is why we r losing. D defence is poor especially when chelsea is playin wit10 players bcos torres is a serious flop. Remove torres n see chelsea win matches. Torres is our problem!
ReplyDeleteI believe Guardiola is stil better than RDM.and given d squad in his disposal he can play tiki-taka dat Abramovic craves n stil win matches.we must buy Falcao n if Suarez comes it becomes an added advantage but I don't see that happening.
