This post is going to be short and sweet as I want you guys to give your opinions.
Steven Gerrard has given an interview about the decision he made to stay at Liverpool, the success he has had and the success he has missed out on by turning down moves away.
The key part of the interview I want to focus on is here. He is asked the question about the money men in football, more so Roman Abramovich rather than Sheikh Mansour as his success at City is only recent.
When asked if they have affected the game for the wrong reasons he replied by saying:
Even without Abramovich, Chelsea had made their way into the top four. OK, not enough to challenge United and Arsenal for the title, but would have at least put up a fight.
As for Gerrard to say that he would have had TWO or THREE titles by now is ridiculous.
Before Chelsea's money, the title was literally dominated by Manchester United and Arsenal and NOT Liverpool who hadn't won the league for years even back then!.
What do you people think about Gerrards comments? Does he have substance in his argument?

"It is no good us worrying about the power of Chelsea and Manchester City, But there is no two ways about it, if there was no Roman Abramovich or the guy [Sheikh Mansour] who bought Manchester City I'd have two or three league titles sitting here now."(Source)

Well he's almost right, he'd certainly would have had 2 or 3 titles if the scouse fan hadn't sent him death threats when he was considering joing the Chelsea revolution.
