Now everyone is back in training and with the season being back in full swing now, it will be more than interesting to see RDM's team selection tomorrow afternoon. Let's not forget, Chelsea start their defence of the Champions League in midweek against Juventus and I just wonder if RDM has THAT game in mind as he makes his final decision as to who starts tomorrow.
I just wonder if it's time for Victor Moses to make his Chelsea debut tomorrow?
Up to this point, RDM has decided against going with out and out wingers in the attacking three midfield positions and using Ramires out wide alongside Juan Mata and Eden Hazard instead.
Moses gives us another dimension as we have all seen what he can do at Wigan and has improved his game dramatically over the past year in the Premier League.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Moses said:
“I have played in the Premier League before - it is not my first time. When I do get my chance, I have just got to go out there and grab it.(Source)
It depends where the manager is going to play me. I am comfortable playing anywhere up front. I just want to enjoy myself and play football.”
I would play him tomorrow up against QPR's back four after showing their defensive weaknesses in my last post. With Hazard, Mata and Moses all behind Torres and providing natural width we can really open them up.
Moses has proven just how much potential he has, how good he can be and that he can provide competition for a start week in, week out that it's important that we carry on his development.
I say start him tomorrow, what do you people think?

Yup its about time to give him a start and like you said, we have a very busy two weeks coming up. Can't wait to see him play.
ReplyDeleteStarting him is the right direction! He will reduce the burden of harzard in trying to opening up defense. He is a player that naturally like to burst through defense
