Where do you stand on Fernando Torres?
It's a simple question but judging by some of the comments on my website in recent days, one that will divide opinion.
Now I get criticised by some for my opinion but that's exactly what it is. I give it and have the freedom to do so. If that sparks something in you to agree with me and post comment then great and even if you don't agree that's fine with me.
I guess being honest, I am a little surprised by some things I have read that have been written so I want to open this whole post up to a bigger audience.
I am asking YOU the Chelsea fan reading this no matter where you are in the world to answer the question at the top of this post. Do you believe in him? Do you feel as though he should be our main man or not?
For me, I am 100% behind Torres and like I have been saying ever since he signed for us, with the right service he could become a goal scoring legend at this club.
Now the big man has gone and players have been brought in to supply goals for him, I honestly believe we will see Fernando Torres fly this season.
Some of you disagree and that's fair enough. You have the freedom on here to do so (as long as it doesn't get too personal!).
I posted yesterday that he looks for the most part, still a frustrated striker. Two glaring instances of him or his run being ignored the other night sparked a frustrated reaction from him as he is just crying out to be played in on goal.
If we could just get that link up play right, he really will fly.
It's not just his goal, it's his work rate throughout the game that's important for our team and attacking shape.
So I have had my say, now I want to hear from as many of you as possible and spread the word to your Chelsea friends to come on here and give their opinions.

KTBFFH!
Torres 4 me will make us prouÐ this season....ramires made a mistake but let's not go into that therz still plenty games 2 b played and we will take the league!!!...urz truly figo from port elizabeth
ReplyDeleteTorres will surely deliver this season, as we've all seen him scored two goals in three matches. He need players like hazard, mata, and oscar with the attacking and let ramires and lampard be defensive midfielders. Terry should be out for at least two matches with this we're going to see the best of torres and chelsea in general. Enough of the mistakes from terry.
ReplyDeletei'm with you..... Wat we lack upfront is looking at him as d target man.... Abundance of several potent midfielders is great but can be a big disadvantage if they dont choose to do d right work by giving him d feed.... I see his runs not being met with d pass.... Our good attacking midfielders must work on understanding him.... It will make us more deadly... Cos wen defenders fear him, more attention on him will give more space for d others. We need to make him a scoring machine...
ReplyDeleteTorres will do well this season... he should to shut all those who donot count him.... hr is far better than his record suggests...
ReplyDeleteit hurts to see our midfielders being selfish at time.jst look at what rami did the other day it could have cost us the whole match.i have no problem with nando the problem is with the midfielders and hopefully with the addition of hazard, oscar and marin things will be differemt now.nando has always appreciated what we the fans have done 4 him and he says whatever he will do this season will be dedicated to the fans so lets wish him luck.
ReplyDeleteform is temporary, class is permanent. i believe 100% in el nino, and with the mids the blues have someone w/ torres' experience & class can score at least 20 goals
