Yesterday it was announced by Wigan that they have accepted Chelsea's FIFTH offer of around £9m for Victor Moses and the player is now free to discuss personal terms and speak with us.
I will be honest, for me the jury is out with Moses. It's obvious he has talent, has age on his side and has come on leaps and bounds by playing regular first team football at Wigan.
The question is, based on what we have seen from Chelsea so far, do you think he can force his way into our side?
I don't think Moses is a winger but more of a striker but he can do a job out there better than Danny Sturridge. If anything the Moses signing is a clear indication that RDM will be giving Sturridge more game time up front through the middle.
Expect terms on this one to be done and dusted pretty quickly and the signing announced as early as later today.
So Chelsea fans, what do you think of the Moses deal now it's looking like we have got him? What do you think he can offer us that we haven't got at the moment?
KTBFFH!
This is a very nice signing, we all saw what moses could do against chelsea... I think he should start on the left wing.. Cos he tends to penetrate easily from the left position.. Am happy.. This guy has got pace, dribbling, ball control and loads of energy to burn.. Imaging Ramires on the right wing, Victor Moses on the left wing, Mata and Hazard in the middle.. Hahahaha....
ReplyDeleteCould he not replace Ramires on the right wing?
ReplyDeleteIm happy that Chelsea is going after young bright talent instead of spending big money on older stars. I think mosses will provide good competition with marin to play on the left wing. With as many competitions and games that Chelsea play in the depth of the squad is very important. Mosses has pace, and as we saw last Sunday can beat his man and puttye ball into the box. I also like that aside from the speed mosses is a much stronger player than our other newly signed wingers-oscar, Marin, hazard- which I think will be a good switch of style in general but also it will add some toughness to the squad which is needed when going through a season in the Pl. I hope now Rdm decides to give sturridge his opportunity as a striker. I'd like to see how mata, hazard, mosses/Marin mesh with sturridge running the #9 position
ReplyDeleteI'm not thrilled by this signing. From what I saw last week I thought Oscar looked more impressive in the 30min or so he played. While it is good that he has age on his side I just hope it doesn't detract from Oscar getting his minutes on the pitch.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to this meaning sturdge gets a little more playing time in the middle I'm all for it. I'd like to see what he can do if he ever gets the chance.
