A few moments ago, Chelsea confirmed that they have loaned out Josh McEachran to Middlesborough for the season which is something that has been on the cards all summer if we are honest.
The statement reads:
With the players we have here and the signings we have made, it always seemed as though Josh would have to go on loan to get some first team football but in saying that, Chelsea had to choose the right place for him after last seasons loan to Swansea never really worked out.
At Boro he will get the chance to play and really make his mark and it will be interesting to see how we progresses there. To actually go for a whole season will give him time to get used to life there, settle down and feel like part of the team which is exactly what he needs at the moment.
Let's hope this time, the deal works out for McEachran and Chelsea!.

The statement reads:
Josh McEachran has today joined Championship side Middlesbrough on a season-long loan.
The midfielder, 19, joined our pre-season tour to America and figured in matches against Seattle Sounders and Paris St Germain.
So far in his Chelsea career, the England Under 21 international has made 22 competitive appearances, the last coming on January 2 at Wolves.
Josh also made five appearances (including two starts) on loan at Swansea in the second half of last season, and will now be looking to become a regular in Tony Mowbray's side as they seek a return to the top flight.
