Hulk pushes for move but Chelsea will not budge!

The situation with "Hulk" has been stop, start all summer. First we were linked with him, then he talked up a move, then it went quiet again, then he was at the Olympics and now it's over he is talking up a move again!

The thing is, it seems that Chelsea are taking a hard stance with Porto over the valuation of the player. As usual Porto have these ridiculous release fee's inserted into player contracts to try and scare off other clubs but even so, they are more than happy to do business.

The problem is, it's being reported that they are more than willing to do business with anyone who will pay around £38m for the big man but as yet no one has matched that valuation.

With rumours of PSG and Anzhi being interested in him, the emphasis is on Chelsea to get in a get the deal done if they do in fact see him as an important part of the rebuilding process here but Chelsea aren't willing to pay £38m and I don't blame them!

For me I would prefer we signed Hulk rather than Cavani because we know he has performed in Portugal and the Champions League over a number of seasons and because it will allow the straight fight between Fernando Torres and Danny Sturridge for the start through the middle.

It's good to see that Chelsea whilst trying to rebuild, are not being held to ransom by these clubs. At the end of the day if Porto have the clause in the contract stating it will take £80m to get him but are willing to sell for more than half the price, it just goes to show you that Chelsea believe that they can get the deal done for less.

Hulk is talking up the move, Porto are willing to sell so let's hope we can get this one done before the window closes!.
