DROGBA'S CHELSEA RETURN?

What a question this is!. As news broke that Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka may have to be sold by their club in China because the club is no longer able to afford their wages, I thought to myself "I wonder if Drogba would terminate his contract and come back to Chelsea?".

Think about it and I know I am probably clutching at straws at the moment but he WAS at Cobham on Tuesday to "see everyone".

For me and I am being serious here, If Chelsea let Danny Sturridge go then it's a major sign of a deal already being agreed by Chelsea to bring someone in. All the reports will have you believe that Chelsea are about to spend £20m on Andre Schurrle but, I wouldn't rule out Drogba!.

I think if this could happen it would be on the basis that he comes back here as a backup to Torres. Torres is the main man now and Drogba would have to settle for a place on the bench.

Whether or not Drogba would want to do that is another thing though isn't it. Would he rather have left the club on the biggest high imaginable as he has done or would he consider coming back for one more crack?

I could be clutching at straws here but if he terminates his contract, he's a free agent!
