The transfer window closes on Friday night and expect some big money moves to happen right up to the last minute this week.
At the moment, I do not expect Chelsea to make any more signings but our hand could be forced if as being reported, Liverpool and Tottenham come in with big money bids for Danny Sturridge.
Sturridge who without question isn't favoured by Roberto Di Matteo ahead of Fernando Torres (and why wouldn't he be?), is rumoured to have become frustrated and wants first team football.
Now looking from the outside in, Liverpool lost Dirk Kuyt for a ridiculous fee and although they have signed Fabio Borini to play up with Luis Suarez, they seem a little weak down the right hand side and this is where Sturridge comes in. Brendan Rogers is looking to play 4-3-3 with Liverpool and doesn't see Stuart Downing as the answer. We could see Downing out the door to accommodate and possibly finance a bid for Sturridge.
It remains to be seen if Sturridge wants to leave purely for first team football despite still not being given the role of centre forward he wants?
Now Tottenham flush with some cash after selling Luka Modric for around £7m less than we offered for him last season to Madrid and with AVB in charge who famously gave Sturridge a start every week at Chelsea, could come in with a big bid for Sturridge.
With just Adebayor or Defoe up top, Sturridge could be seen as someone who gives them a different option wide or through the middle. AVB is key in this one. If Sturridge is given the opportunity to speak with him, we could see Sturridge make the move across London purely and simply because of the relationship those two had.
For me, Chelsea will shoot themselves in the foot big time if they sell Sturridge. OK, I have had a moan at Sturridge because he IS still too greedy but he is still someone of immense talent.
He is backup to Torres this season but provide RDM with a different option through the middle if Torres doesn't get any joy. I admit, I would be very surprised if Chelsea sell Sturridge.
As for Arsenal, there are rumours that they could make a last ditch move for Florent Malouda and I believe he is at a stage with the club now that he just wants to leave. RDM said that he wanted to speak with Malouda when pre season started after he declared that he wanted to finish playing football in Brazil, and since then Malouda hasn't featured at all for us on match days.
I think being honest, Arsenal could even get him in the cheap if they wanted him so it's up t Arsene Wenger if he wants him.
The same could be said for Yossi Benayoun. Another player who hasn't featured at all and who did impress under Wenger at Arsenal, you have to wonder if the Arsenal boss will want to take him to the Emirates permanently.
Benayoun does have plenty to offer and I really thought that under RDM's 4-2-3-1 formation with the three attacking midfielders, he had a part to play even as cover at Chelsea but it simply seems as though this isn't the case.
So expect some big moves in this window. Chelsea could offload as many as three or four players and if Sturridge is one of them, expect Chelsea to spend again to replace him. I hope it isn't the case!
KTBFFH!
