TORRES: EVERYTHING'S IN PLACE FOR HIM TO DELIVER.

Seeing Fernando Torres rejoin the Chelsea squad over in our pre season tour of America has really hit home to me just how big this season is for him at Chelsea.

We all know that Didier Drogba has left and if anything, we should see a new, fresh and hungry Fernando Torres wearing Chelsea blue, ready to prove to everyone just how good he can be to lead us for the next three years at least!.

I have said it before, but it can't have been easy for Torres knowing that he had to fight for his position with the man who had seen off plenty of others, Didier Drogba.

The legend and icon that is Drogba has now passed the baton to Torres and said himself that he believes Torres is the man to take this club forward.

It's not been easy for Torres at Chelsea ever since he joined us and if you think about it, he has had to adjust the way he plays to fit in with the way we had been stuck playing. In addition to that, not knowing you are the main man would also have had an effect on him.

Fernando Torres would now been keen to work hard to prove himself once again to RDM starting in America and will want to prove to everyone just how good he can be.

There has NEVER been any questions about his commitment, his desire and his desire to get out there and score goals but this season, he will have everything he has ever wanted given to him and it's time for no more excuses because there aren't any left.

With RDM looking to make some changes to the way we play (4-2-3-1) with the likes of Marko Marin, Eden Hazard and Oscar joining the club, with the returning Yossi Benayoun added to Juan Mata and Ramires, Torres will have all the tools at his disposal this season.

He will finally know that if he makes those runs off the ball, it will be given to him, he will get the ball exactly when and where he wants it and that should give him complete confidence in the team and in his game which will be massive for him personally.

Everyone will be looking at Chelsea and Fernando Torres in particular after seeing Didier Drogba leave the club, wondering how we can move on and if Torres can finally put to bed all the negativity about his game and lack of confidence.

I personally predict Torres will win the golden boot this season and could be on for his best ever scoring season in the Premier League. Some people may think I am wrong or crazy but mark my words, with the creative players and attacking flair Chelsea will have in their side this season, Torres will fly!.

Speaking on his website of the new season ahead, Torres said:

"I would love to win a Premier League, Hopefully it will happen this year, but for sure we will be challenging for it,"

Well if you have the season we all believe you could have, you may get your wish!.
