As Roman Abramovich continues to develop the second coming of his blue revolution at Chelsea, it appears that he has been well and truly stopped in his tracks.
According to the British Press, it seems that Chelsea have had two bids turned down for Willian and Victor Moses by their respective clubs.
Now Willian is an interesting one as it seemed that our interest had cooled in him once we had signed Juan Mata. With Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Marko Marin now signed in addition to Mata, I thought this deal was dead!.
This morning, it's being reported that Chelsea had a bid of around £27, rejected and have been told that a fee that would match the figure we paid for Eden Hazard is what will be required to get him.
Now I can't understand that to be fair. I have to say I would prefer Oscar being signed rather than Willian as from looking around videos on the web, Oscar offers us a better option.
Now moving on to Victor Moses. Reports this morning state that Wigan Chairman Dave Whelan has confirmed that he has turned down a THIRD offer from Chelsea for their young starlet!.
Now I can see where he is coming from to be fair. He has invested money and time into his player and Wigan can offer Moses regular first team football. In addition to that, knowing that Roman is splashing the case again would also play a part as if he does decide to sell, he would want to get as much as possible for Moses.
For me, now we have signed the people we have and with Oscar looking like being likely to be signed shortly, Moses would struggle to command a regular spot here.
If he is keen to be a part of Chelsea's long term vision then fair enough and he is obviously more than welcome.
I just wonder if Chelsea will go back in for these two or decide to continue to look elsewhere?.
