As Chelsea fans, we expect a fair few rumours to appear during the course of a season and especially during the summer and the winter transfer window.
One of the rumours that HAS appeared before, seems to have surfaced again this morning regarding the future of Marouane Fellaini of Everton.
He has been linked with a move away from Goodison before but it seems that he has become an important target for Roman Abramovich this summer. The Mirror in England, has posted an article this morning stating that Chelsea are prepared to offer around £20m for him and Everton, with their financial situation, would HAVE TO accept.
I am just wondering if this is the right move for Chelsea?. The paper describes him as a "midfield enforcer!" but I beg to differ.
With all new signings, you look for players to come in and improve our squad. You look for someone to come in and give you a better option compared to what you already have. With Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Essien and Meireles all battling for a potential TWO positions in RDM's 4-2-3-1 formation, where would Fellaini fit in?
I can understand the signing of Eden Hazard as we have no option wide left as Juan Mata will play through the middle and I can understand the potential signing of Hulk to replace Didier Drogba and play on the right hand side with Fernando Torres as our main striker now. These players improve on what we have. Fellaini doesn't for me.
So that's where I am at with this at the moment. Am I right to think that way or do you have a different opinion?

KTBFFH!
There is also a romeu and josh in midfield(CFC does not need any enforcer in the middle); we have de bruyne(I saw clips of him and he is very fantastic on d left.he's gonna give hazard a good run for place on d left), lucas paizon should come through.
ReplyDeleteFelaini's ability superceed dt of both essien nd meireles as he plays to attack nd defend in a vry comfortable way nd he will b of grt hlp nd better conection to mikel nd juan in defndn nd atackn simultaniously. I wil prefer we offload essien nd meireles to hv ds Vasartile midfielder than keepn the both or keepn one nd letn one out so as to record a huge sucess campaign nd accomplishn Abramovich's new era footbal project. In him I trust. We love u Abrammmmmmmovich
ReplyDeleteFelaini not good enough for chelsea there are beta CM out there like modric,m'villa, xavi martinez etc they are most likly to leav there clubs so chelsea must try get one a them
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. There're to many central/def midfieldrs in d club already. I believe some should even be sold not buying more NO MATTER HOW GOOD!
ReplyDeleteFelani not good for chelsea, we should go for m'villa dat guy will be a perfect sign for us.
ReplyDeleteFellani is a good player but chelsea as enough cm ! The only way fellani can fit in is if we sell essien & bring him in . I feel our dream team is complete buh we can make a better team if we sell molouda or meireless & bring in modric!! I have to give a lot of credits to abrahimovic his really been the back bone for chelsea !!! Can't wait 4 nxt season , Blues all the way . Lol
