Buck has it spot on!

Bruce Buck made headlines over the weekend for comments he made in the programme for our final home game last Sunday against Blackburn and being honest, I can't see that was he said was wrong in my opinion!.

I wrote a post last week before the game and said that I would have mixed emotions on the day because of our FA CUP and Champions League achievements, compared to the crappy league season we have had this term and all Buck has done is echo what I have said.

Buck said in the programme speaking of our sixth place finish in the Premier League:

"We do not consider that to be satisfactory and Roman and the board will be working over the summer to try to ensure that doesn't happen again.

We were all very disappointed with the result on Tuesday night in Liverpool. We just couldn't get into the game, and we played to Liverpool's tune. But if we had the choice to win the FA Cup final or Tuesday night's game, I know which one I would have picked.

"So, in that sense, I am satisfied."

What's wrong with what we has said? I agree with him. I posted this match report after the game and when I had time to calm down asking "What the hell was that?" as a performance and I am glad that the board felt the same as I did!.

You can bet your life that there will be major changes at the club this Summer because Roman Abramovich will not want Chelsea to miss out on the top four again for a long, long time to come!.
