SHOPPING LIST: A striker, two fullbacks and an attacking midfielder.

The Daily Mail this morning (linked in the description of the image above) have posted an article this morning stating that Roman Abramovich will present the new manager of the club with a list of high profile potential signings and to take his pick. Listed above are the players believed to be ON that list.

According to the article, AVB had started the process by sending the clubs scouts out around the world looking for talent that could replace the current "ageing" stars. Since his departure, Abramovich has continued his work and by the time the season is over, the list will be complete.

Another key point in the article states that Abramovich is now keen for the new man in charge to have THE final say on who he wants to sign and if this is true then it's fantastic news.

Of the players listed above I can only see maybe one or two of them coming in but of course it does depend on who takes over.

The fact Abramovich has a new project here at the club of complete overhaul with added to that THE final say in who comes in, I just wonder if this would appeal to Jose Mourinho?.

It's important not to dwell on this too much at the moment as there is still plenty to play for this season with the players we currently have.

One thing I will say, the area's we need to improve on should also include natural wingers.
