RDM on Barca: "They do have weaknesses. We just need to exploit them."

After posting my scouting report of the Barcelona weaknesses I have uncovered here, it was also good to hear RDM speak of weakness in their game that he has also seen after watching hours of Barca footage in recent weeks.

He said:

“You look at the way you can hurt Barcelona and create them difficulties. I've seen many games and they do have weaknesses. We just need to exploit them.

It's not just about stopping a single player, because obviously they have so many players that can hurt you, It has to be a team tactic, a team strategy, to be able to limit their threat.

The fans will be behind us, no doubt about it.

The fans have always been great at Stamford Bridge, they've always been very supportive to the team and I've absolutely no concerns about the fact that the fans will be cheering the team on."

Now if you read my Scouting Report, you will see I have pinpointed FOUR area's in the Barcelona defence that we can expose. Gerard Pique's positional sense and being caught out ball watching, Dani Alves getting caught out the wrong side and his apparent lack of pace now, defending set pieces with their zonal marking and the late run.

I just hope Di Matteo has noticed the same as I have!
