LAMPARD ON BARCELONA: "We have to take them on!"

Frank Lampard has spoken of the task ahead of us on Wednesday night shortly after Chelsea beat Spurs and is keen to point out that any team is beatable and that Chelsea have to take them on to beat them and he believes that we can do it!.

He said:

"From the start of every game, it's 50-50. Barcelona are favourites because of the players they have in their team but if we play like we did against Spurs in the two games then we will have a chance.

It gives us confidence. We have to carry that on. There's no point in resting on that because the game on Wednesday's huge. We need to take that into the Champions League games and all the rest of our league games.

Any team's beatable. They are the best, but we can't show too much fear. We have to take them on and I think we can do it."

Lampard is right especially as the first game is at home. The debate will continue this week right up till kick off as to how Chelsea need to approach the game. Should they go for Barcelona and try and get a two goal lead to take the Bridge OR is a should be remain tight at the back in the hope not to concede and then look to nick an away goal in the Nou Camp?

I am with Lampard on this one. Yes we should be worried about the threat that Barcelona pose us and in particular Lionel Messi but saying that, Barcelona should be worried about the threat we will pose them too!.

Chelsea have to take them on!
