Chelsea have no time to dwell on beating Benfica and progressing through to yet another semi final against Barcelona as we have Wigan at the Bridge on Saturday. Thinking ahead to the game I am wondering who RDM will start for this one bearing in mind we also have Fulham away on Monday night!.
So far, since he has taken over at Chelsea, RDM has opted to rotate players who remain fresh and I expect plenty of changes for this one against Wigan who have had some pretty impressive results in recent weeks.
Chelsea still have a job to do and need another professional performance against them if we are to maintain any hopes of a top four finish. With Spurs away at Sunderland and Arsenal at home to Man City, this could be a chance to claw three points back on one of them.
So, I predict that there will be changes on Saturday and here is the team I would pick to start against Wigan:
Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Cahill, Bertrand, Essien, Mikel, Malouda, Meireles, Sturridge and Drogba.

Well,your line up is very good but i will prefer Oriol Romeu to start in place of Mikel since he has'nt been getting some play time

ReplyDeleteNo boswinga no malouda no mikel play romeu the lads class. He's twice the player mikel is. It's Wigan give the kids a run like piazon chalobah or Clifford the fans would get behind them 100%
