Chelsea v Benfica - BE WARNED!

Chelsea have a great chance of progressing into yet another Champions League Semi Final and yet another two legged affair against Barcelona but it's important to remember that this game is far from won. We cannot and should not, think of the next round and concentrate our focus on this one game for the time being.

This match tonight isn't over by any means as an away goal hangs like a cloud over the Bridge and in the back of minds. BE WARNED CHELSEA, you need to be on your game, up for the fight and 100% professional as nothing else will do.

If anything, the performance against this lot away from home should be the base we build on. We overcame Napoli when everything seemed to be against us, we won the game in Lisbon with a fantastic professional performance and the same is required or even better tonight.

Benfica will be a very dangerous animal that we have to contend with. They know that all it takes is a single goal and they are back on level terms. They have quality players, are technically very good and will provide a real test for Chelsea tonight. They are by no means a pushover and will come here confident of scoring.

The thing is, their defence is suspect as we proved with the goal from Kalou. If Chelsea can play with a high intensity and at Premier League pace, we can open up Benfica time and time again. Just like against Napoli, it's about creating chances and taking them when it matters.

Who plays? I'm not so sure as we now have everyone fit. It would be tempting to put the same side out to start the game that beat Benfica 1-0 in the first game but I think there will be a couple of changes. I predict Frank Lampard will come in and maybe Danny Sturridge but it's going to be a tough decision to make. I do predict that Fernando Torres will continue up front!.

The good thing is that we are all singing off the same hymn sheet now and everyone is together. Whoever starts this one will be aware of the importance of this one and will give their all to the cause.

Chelsea have the capability of putting Benfica away tonight and making another statement within Europe. If we stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation and get our foot on the ball early, dominating possession then I can really see Chelsea creating plenty of chances. An early goal could knock the stuffing out of Benfica and we can kick on from there but as I said, we have to remain cautious at the back and keep things tight.

Surely with the carrot of another Semi-Final tie against Barcelona in the offing, Chelsea won't throw this away!.

Come on Chelsea! Give us another Napoli night all over again!
