Chelsea star confirms his intentions to stay at the club!

With news that Barcelona are putting together a bid of around £35m to tempt David Luiz into leaving Chelsea and heading off to Spain, Luiz was keen to reconfirm his intention to remain at Chelsea.

Speaking of the speculation, Luiz said:

“I’m very happy in London, I like London and Chelsea. I like England and playing in the Premier League.

I play for a big club and when you play for a big club the pressure is so hard. But when you win you are the best and a hero, that is normal.”

It's good to hear Luiz wants to stay here for the club and the supporters as he has become somewhat of a cult hero at the Bridge. However, it remains to be seen what happens if the Spanish giants come in with a bid.

Let's hope Chelsea reject any bid made for Luiz and concentrate on Luiz being part of a new Chelsea for the future!.
