Big money move for Real Madrid star?

After the midweek performances of both clubs the rumour regarding potential business between Chelsea and Real Madrid has emerged again.

Gonzalo Higuain who is a proven goalscorer looks have become second fiddle to Karim Benzama in recent weeks and looks a frustrated character.

Higuain’s strike record is impressive. He has scored 25 goals in 51 games this season with eight assists and in his three seasons in Spain he has netted 102 times in just 217 outings, with 35 assists.

If you believe the press in the UK it appears that Jose Mourinho wants Sergio Aguero to join him next season as he looks to take the club forward and is prepared to do business with Chelsea for Higuain. A bid of around £35m should get Chelsea their man.

For me without question, Higuain is the kind of player that would be great in the Premier League and given his natural scoring instincts would fit Chelsea perfectly.

We have been linked with him before this season and the player denied any move but since then and with Benzama being preferred of late, Higuain could have a chance of heart.
