West Brom v Chelsea - We have to take our chance this weekend!

There is a message that ALL of us Chelsea fans would be giving to AVB and his players this afternoon. They HAVE to take their chance to close the gap on Tottenham and Arsenal by beating West Brom. With Arsenal playing Liverpool in the lunchtime kick off shortly and Spurs taking on United, Chelsea have a real chance to close the gap. We simply cannot afford to drop ANY points.

If AVB picks the same side as last week at Bolton, Chelsea have every chance of a positive result today. We had great news as Didier Drogba and Daniel Sturridge were both declared fit to play which is massive for us right now. If there is any change to be made then it could be Fernando Torres coming in for Drogba after he had a knock this week, but I do expect Drogba to start.

Like I said last week, AVB needs to pick our strongest eleven now week in, week out to give us our best chance of climbing back up that table and because JT is still injured, the side SHOULD BE:

Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Drogba and Sturridge.

It's important to remember and especially nowadays, you have to play well and earn the right to win games in the Premier League. Every side is capable of being each other and West Brom will come into this game full of confidence after beating Sunderland 4-0 last week.

Expect West Brom to get the ball down, press Chelsea's players to deny time and space on the ball to make this difficult today. Chelsea need level heads, to remain composed and concentrate on our own game today.

If anything, we need to move the ball quickly to eventually tire their players and maybe take control of the game in the second half.

We need the likes of Luiz and Cahill to remain solid at the back, Essien to protect our back four and Lampard and Ramires to support Drogba.

This isn't easy this afternoon but Chelsea have the quality and finally, quality on the bench to come on to make a difference. Chelsea can win this today and if we are up and at it from the kick off, by a couple of goals.

Like I said, this is a game Chelsea have to win.

Come on Chelsea!
