RDM'S arm round the shoulder approach.

Isn't it ridiculous that a simple arm around the shoulder of these well paid (reported) ego's is all it took to get these people onside.

AVB never gave me the opinion he was of the same approach and was maybe the main reason he failed here.

RDM has taken over during a time of dressing room disruption and turmoil and to his credit has done things his way by starting with giving the players a voice, a cuddle and then motivation. These three things have led to a dramatic turn around at our football club.

Football these days is as much about man managing your players as it is about tactics. RDM has done both fantastically well along with Eddie Newton and as a result we find ourselves in the quarter finals of the FA CUP and the Champions League and getting back on track in the league.

Some people are playing down the Di Matteo / Newton effect but i will say this, Roman would have been immensely impressed last night and that cannot be underestimated.
