Tonight is the third of four big games for RDM and his Chelsea side as we travel to Manchester.
Off the back of four wins from four we have confidence leading into the game and rightly so but its important to take each game as it comes and we have to be aware of the threat City will pose tonight.
John Terry being injured is massive in my eyes tonight and we will miss his voice and organising at the back. Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba will need to step up in his absence.
However, I still believe that City will be more than worried about us tonight with the strength we have through midfield and in our forward line.
The re-introduction of Salomon Kalou has provided RDM with more options than we had before allowing Juan Mata to play in behind. It will be interesting to see who has the greater influence on the game between Mata and Silva tonight.
Some rumors are reporting that we could start with BOTH Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba up top tonight but for me it would be a mistake. We should continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation to nullify the influence of Silva and Yaya Toure and force them on the back foot with our three inbehind.
I am back from Florida on Friday and still have not seen our last two games but by the sound of it, Ramires needs to continue wide left.
What of City? Well they are having a wobble aren't they and will look to the game tonight to re-establish their title credentials.
The interesting thing is that Carlos Tevez is in line for a return to the side when if it was me, I would have told him to piss off a long time ago after showing blatant disrespect to the fans and the club.
I believe it will have a negative influence on the team and disrupt what Mancini has built there this season.
In Joe Hart City have the bedrock of their success and Chelsea will need to be their best to beat him tonight and end City 's impressive home record.
I am hoping we will but it will be difficult without question. However, I still think that their defending isn't as solid as people think as their midfield do not track back well enough and that could be key in us winning this one. Frank Lampard could have a big big game tonight for us!.
The only doubt I have is who starts in the middle at the back. Cahill needs to have another good game.
If anyone can end City's run at home its us and they know it. Lets hope we get out there tonight and do it!
COME ON CHELSEA!
CD in Florida.
