Jose sticks the boot into AVB!

It comes as no surprise that AVB is being linked with the Inter Milan post in the summer after Claudio Ranieri was sacked this week. In fact, AVB is the bookies favourite or should I say "was" until apparently Massimo Moratti spoke with Jose Mourinho for advice on AVB. It seems as though Jose has advised Moratti that he isn't the right man for Inter.

An Inter source said:

"Moratti calls Mourinho regularly to discuss everything about Inter with him, and he has been warned off Villas-Boas by his former coach. Mourinho believes AVB is not the right man for Inter.

Inter have contacted someone in the Chelsea staff because they are worried how AVB might manage the players, especially the ones with experience.

They want to be clear that he is not going to have problems with senior players such as Javier Zanetti and Diego Milito."

Trust Jose eh? Who would have thought he would put the boot in? I think though saying that, to this day they still haven't spoken to each other since AVB decided to go out on his own!.

One thing I will say about Mourinho is that we all have to be cautious. There are rumours flying about that he will make a return to Chelsea this summer but, he also said the other day:

"Inter is my home; a return home is always possible,"

Now I'm sure I have heard that somewhere before!
