Determined Frank Lampard trains on his own.

Alot is always written and said about Frank Lampard during the course of a season, some good and some bad and there is divided opinion at the moment on whether or not Lampard should be playing week in, week out or if the manager should continue with his rotation policy this season.

One thing that is NEVER in question about Lampard is his professionalism. As we know it's international week this week (at a ridiculous time of the season by the way!) and those not involved with their national sides were given a couple of days off to return to training this morning.

Frank Lampard had other ideas and yesterday trained with the fitness coach of the club for a full 90 minute session yesterday ALONE.



You cannot fault Lampard's determination to force AVB's hand to play him all the time. He's his own biggest critic and is doing everything he can to keep in favour with the manager who he quite openly admitted to not having an "ideal" relationship with.
