Chelsea v Sunderland: Who plays?.

The result last night has really put the cat amongst the pigeons with Chelsea now sitting eight points behind Tottenham in the Premier League. The remit for Saturday's game now is simple, we have to win and get the three points and the performance doesn't matter. We have to get on a run of results and keep picking up three points week in, week out and anything else will be a disaster!.

The thing is, on Saturday we take on a rejuvenated Sunderland side under new man manager Martin O'Neill and this lot will be well and truly up for it. With nothing to lose, they will come here to battle for every ball, to make life difficult for Chelsea and will be more than happy to come away with a point.

It's up to Chelsea to make things happen, to break them down and to take our chances. You can bet your life Sunderland will line up with a defensive shape when they don't have the ball, with virtually everyone back behind the ball to make it really difficult for us. Chelsea have struggled against sides that do that and it could be a struggle again. We need someone to open things up, to provide that little bit of craft to feed Fernando Torres in behind to open the door.

So with all this in mind I am asking you the Chelsea fan reading this who YOU THINK should start the game?.

For me, I am going with the following players in a 4-3-3 formation:

Cech, Bosingwa, Luiz, Terry (C), Cole, Romeu, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Torres and Sturridge.

Bosingwa and Cole to push Sunderland's wingers backwards when possible, Lampard in for Meireles for his late runs into the box to grab a goal and Sturridge back in the side on the right to cause them plenty of problems.

(I just want to add, if Gary Cahill signs for Chelsea in time to play on Saturday, I would be brave enough to put him straight into the side. I would put him in next to JT and take Bosingwa out of the team and move David Luiz to right back).
