Chelsea set to complete another fantastic deal!!

Chelsea are expected (by the press and hopefully me) to announce the signing of Kevin De Bruyne for a fee of around £8.5m and immediately loan him back to Genk for the remainder of the season.

I have to say this is a fantastic deal for Chelsea as it seems that Genk have lowered the valuation of the exciting winger from £12m to £8.5m (as reported here) so a deal can be done BUT it seems with the stipulation that he remains with them until the season finishes. If it was me, I would have either insisted that he joins us now or we pay the extra money so he can be a part of our season THIS SEASON!.

I have spoken of KDB many times on here and AVB has admitted his admiration for him and it WILL BE the perfect fit as the signing of KDB will allow Juan Mata to play the free role in behind the striker which is something we have all been waiting for.

Also, the signing of KDB will be yet another younger addition to the squad for a reasonable sum of money just like the Cahill deal and will more or less signal the end of Florent Malouda's time at Chelsea in the summer.
