French giants in for Chelsea striker?

It has been reported, and especially after AVB has reportedly told six of our first team squad that they are free to leave the club, that Paris St Germain are more than interested in Salomon Kalou.

Kalou as we all know has failed to hold down a regular first team spot ever since he has been at Chelsea really if you think about it. He signed for Chelsea in 2006 but hasn't really cut it to force people out of their positions under the different managers we have had at the club since then. To this day, it's still the case with AVB.

The thing is about Kalou, in one moment he could be brilliant and then sloppy and disappointing in the next and that's what is so frustrating about him for me anyway.

Danny Sturridge has come back to Chelsea and has done more in the games he has played that Kalou has done in recent seasons for me and is now first choice well ahead of Kalou.

PSG have Claude Makelele has their "sporting advisor" and according to these reports is the person pushing for a deal to be done.

If you ask me, I hold nothing against Kalou and if he moves on I wish him well for the future. Maybe, if he played week in, week out he would become much more consistent and his game would improve.

In this instance, I think it's time for Chelsea to cut our losses and move on.

What's your opinion on Kalou? Do you agree with me that he is unpredictable and hasn't cut it in the five years he has been here? or, do you think he hasn't had a fair go of it?
