Chelsea v Manchester City - Who plays?

Monday night can't come soon enough for me as we take on high flyers Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have picked up their form in the last couple of games and will see this one as a big opportunity to close the gap and to get their first win over our main rivals this season.

Both sides come into the game suffering mixed emotions this week with Chelsea topping their group and qualifying for the next round of the Champions League and City, despite having 10 points which would normally easily be enough to qualify, find themselves in the Europa League alongside "neighbours" Man United.

Both teams will take to the game with a point to prove for various reasons and I just wondered how AVB will approach this one?. Will be stick with what he has done in recent weeks and keep our settled side with maybe just one change (Lampard for Meireles) in addition to the enforced change has to make with David Luiz suspended?. Who will come in for Luiz?

For me, I can see AVB sticking with Meireles ahead of Lampard for this one. It said alot that he was selected ahead of Frank for the massive game against Valencia and I think it will be the same again with the unplayable Didier Drogba keeping Fernando Torres on the bench too.

I guess with Alex left out in the wilderness now after his transfer request, Jose Bosingwa will come back in a right back and Ivanovic will step in alongside John Terry to deal with the absence of Luiz.

So for me, the team I can see AVB selecting to try and beat City is:

Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Romeu, Meireles, Ramires, Sturridge, Drogba and Mata.
