QPR TO OFFER ANELKA £90,000 PER WEEK IN JANUARY?

Reports yesterday broke that QPR are interested in signing Nicolas Anelka in January before his contract expires at the end of the season. It is also being reported in one paper that they are also willing to pay him £90,000 a week wages in an attempt to lure him to Loftus Road to join Tony Fernandes' revolution.

I have to say, it's pretty much a given that Anelka will be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season. He wanted a new contract but with Chelsea's policy with ageing players, he will be on his way.

There are rumours of other clubs interested in signing him at the end of the season but I just wonder if the lure of staying in West London, of Premiership football and one final pay day could tempt Anelka to move?

Without question, and I have said it time and time again on here, Anelka is different class and would offer QPR a better option up front with his experience and class. For me, with the signings they have made, QPR will be staying up this season, if they could add Anelka to their ranks in my view it would be a certainty.
