LUKAKU IS GOING NOWHERE IN JANUARY.

Reports surfaced this week in Spain that Malaga had approached Chelsea with a view to taking Romelu Lukaku on loan for the remainder of this season in January. Now, I was surprised with these reports as AVB had openly said that he wouldn't be going anywhere.

The reports continued for a couple of days and got so intense even AC Milan were rumoured to be interested in January. Lukaku's agent has had to come out and speak out and had re-iterated that Lukaku is going nowhere.

He said:

"His future is clear. He will not move in January, he will definitely stay in London. The rumours about Malaga and Stoke City? No, I repeat, Romelu will stay at Chelsea where he is very happy and he will not change jerseys. I'm sorry but there is no possibility of him moving to the Rossoneri."

I have said it before, and will say it again, Lukaku hasn't featured as much as he would have wanted to this season so far but we have to remember he is young and is developing his talent and learning from the players around him.

I couldn't understand why AVB brought him on down the right wing against Arsenal late in the game as he looked out of his depth.

Lukaku has raw talent and in a couple of seasons I believe we will see the real benefit of having him at the club. For now, it's important that he stays at Chelsea and continues to work hard. You never know, he may get more of a chance later on in the season.
