I posted the other day asking for your judgement on how AVB has started here as Chelsea manager. If you haven't seen it, please click this link to take you there.
AVB himself is featured on the Official Chelsea Website and was asked about his and our start to the season and said:
I am surprised that he is playing it down. Mind you, saying that and listening to his interviews it's no surprise. He is fully aware of the requirement this season and is going about his business as normal, composed, calm and under control.
I am pleased with our start and like I said at the time, considering we lost at United, I have never come away from a game feeling so positive about losing and that was because of our performance.
Since then we have kicked on and things all came together last week at Bolton. It's just a shame this international week has put a stop to it for a couple of weeks until we can come back together and focus on Everton.
Here's looking forward to our next game and the rest of the season!.

"I think things have been going okay. We had a good start up to the Old Trafford game where we had a good performance but were unlucky with the result. Bearing in mind the performance, normally with so many opportunities you come away with a win but it didn't go for us in the first half in terms of efficiency and the scoreline was difficult to recover at half-time.(Source)
'We are doing nothing else than what we need to do. We are expected to win every game and that's the challenge that we have. Some results have gone our way a little bit better and others haven't."
