AVB and Cech on Everton..

AVB held his press conference the other day and spoke of our opponents today, Everton who come to the Bridge unbeaten in the last five seasons. When asked about the game, their side and their manager AVB said:

To emphasise the importance of our game, Everton is looking for the sixth game unbeaten coming to the Bridge. We have to be alert and it is going to be a hard battle.

Everton were on a very good run in my opinion, they lost against Liverpool but had they won they would be up challenging for the top with one game in hand. So they are in a good situation and once again proving that David Moyes's work is something fantastic. Even with the financial problems they have it is a club which is well organised and managed and something that should make the English public proud.

They believe they can come out of Stamford Bridge with points because it has been happening in the past.

In football and paper things look different but surprises happen, it's why I don't believe in having a favourites role in every game we play because the unpredictable can happen.

Petr Cech spoke to Chelsea TV and was keen to point out that this afternoon, it's no easy game.
