Chelsea's £20m Real Madrid move?

Reports for some reason are in the media that Chelsea are weighing up a £20m move for Real Madrid's German outcast Sami Khedira.

Khedira has apparently fallen out with Mourinho after Jose blamed him for Madrid losing to Levante after getting sent off. Although he played the other night against Ajax, he has only played 2 La Liga games. The report states that Mourinho is looking to use his two new Turkish signings now in addition to Brazilian Kaka, who seems to have recovered his form and is playing well again.

So, as a result we are now being linked with a possible £20m move for the 24 year old and stated as a potential replacement for Michael Essien who is recovering after his third long term knee ligament injury. It even goes to state that we could make a move in January.

All I want to say on this is first of all the player is overrated. Second of all the fee is ridiculous. Thirdly, even with Essien out injured we don't need him and finally, Essien will come back again and will be strong once again.

I'd rather have a fit Michael Essien over Khedira any day. What do you people think?
